本種は雌雄で触角の形状は変わらない。本州から沖縄の他、マレーシアまで広く分布する。様々な植物から得られているが、特にイヌツゲ、ソヨゴ、カクレミノの葉に多く見られる。

This species not indicate sexial dimorphisum in antennae: male antennal segment VI is almost same shape as that of female. It is widely distributed in Honshu to Okinawa and Malaysia. It occurs on many kinds of plants, especially Ilex crenata, Ilex pedunculosa and Dendropanax trifidus.
